In March 2025, Peru experienced a significant boost in pomegranate exports, with a 66% increase in volume and a 45% increase in value compared to the previous month. The total export volume reached 16,054 tons, valued at US$38.46 million. Despite the increased volume, the average price per kilogram dropped by 12% from US$2.73 to US$2.40. The Netherlands was the top importer, receiving 53% of the total shipments, followed by the United States (17%), Canada (7%), the United Kingdom (7%), and Russia (5%). Forty companies were involved in the exports, with Agrícola Pampa Baja S.A.C. being the largest exporter (14% of the total).
