(Agraria.pe) Peruvian pomegranate exports in March 2025 totaled 16,054 tons valued at US$38.46 million, representing a 66% increase in volume and a 45% increase in value. The average price, meanwhile, fell by -12%, from US$2.73 to US$2.40 per kilogram. These positive results coincided with increased shipments in late February and early March, as a delay was expected in February that would be offset by increased shipments starting in March. Shipments reached 25 destinations during March, with the Netherlands being the main recipient (53% of total shipments) with US$20.38 million (8,688 tons at an average price of US$2.35 per kilogram). The United States followed (17%), with shipments valued at US$6.37 million (2,023 tons at an average cost of US$3.15 per kilogram).
