In the first quarter of 2025, the Omsk Region experienced a notable boost in agricultural production, with a 5.9% increase in pig slaughter to 19.7 thousand tons and a 7.7% rise in overall cattle and poultry production to 44.5 thousand tons. Poultry production saw a remarkable 67.4% increase, reaching 13.3 thousand tons. Agricultural organizations played a key role, producing 16.3 thousand tons of pigs and 13.2 thousand tons of poultry. Additionally, raw milk production hit 116.5 thousand tons, and egg production rose by 9.7% to 199.4 million. The livestock population included significant numbers of pigs, cattle, sheep, goats, and poultry, with a notable increase in poultry numbers, as reported by the Omsk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution 'Center for Agroanalytics.'
