The District Municipality of Pichari in Cusco, Peru, has distributed 100,000 high-quality cacao seedlings to 210 farmers in Natividad, as part of the Cacao Project. The project's goal is to boost the production of aroma-rich cacao using the VRAE99, VRAE15, CCN51, and Bellavista varieties. The farmers will receive technical support and regular monitoring. This initiative is part of the district's larger plan to produce over 1,200,000 cocoa seedlings, demonstrating the administration's dedication to agricultural development and the promotion of cacao as a key local economy product.
