Cassava exports reach over 1 billion USD

Although exports decreased by 13% in volume and 10% in value compared to the same period last year, cassava and cassava products are still one of the 9 agricultural products with an export turnover of over 1 billion USD. The average export price of cassava and cassava products in the first 11 months of 2024 is estimated at 449.3 USD/ton, up 3% over the same period in 2023. China is the main consumer market for cassava and cassava products exported from Vietnam, accounting for 91.4% of the market share, down 9.2% in volume and 0.2% in value over the same period in 2023.
